At the age of 102 Anguburra, also known as Patsy Lulpunda, has now sadly passed away. The name Anguburra refers to the Indigenous honey bee that produces the most exquisitely tasting honey. Her first paintings were at the age of 100 years. Anguburra witnessed and experienced great cultural transformations in her long life, as she was present when Wororra culture was yet to experience European influences and impact.
