Ginginy (Catfish bones) Ginginy represent the home of the spirit of the newborn. Fingerling catfish are translucent and one can see their bones in the water. Ginginy are eaten by the diver duck or cormorant. The fine lline work by Nyuguwana represents these fish in a "herring bone" pattern.
