The small brush Strokes in warm and cool colours overlap and weave to create a swaying effect like the movement of native grass and water. The grass, which can grow up to 15 cm high, is reddish in colour and found throughout the year, however it is particularly abundant after rain. The seed, which is ground and made into damper,is an important staple food for traditional Aboriginal people.
