Golly Uprising is a statement against the hypocrisy that surrounds gollies, dressed in suit and bow tie. Golly is reclaiming his image in truth.
Historically blackfellas were given rations in sacks. These sacks in turn were used as clothing and sleeping bags.
Blackfellas worked for no real pay. Golly stands strong and proud, raising baby while shielding at the same time.
