Nulla Nullas or killing sticks are used when hunting for stunning animals when caught or stopping them in their tracks when on the move. They are also used in human conflict or for exacting punishment under tribal law.
In this print Marlee has depicted the landscape in her country where certain hills are said to be the Nulla Nullas left behind by creation ancestors after a big hunt in the Dreamtime when the world was formed.
