Artists decorate the surfaces with symbolic patterns of the marlipinyini -lines arranged in varying compositions. These decorations are called Jilamara which literally means colour or paint though the term is now applied to describe all designs of body painting for the Pukamani ceremony Purchase Details This work, as part of Coo-ee's Christmas show, Songlines: Coo-ee Christmas is available for sale from 3pm the 24th November at the exhibition opening and not before.
