Story:
The National Arboretum is a landscape that bears the history of fire. This land was managed for thousands of years with cool fire by Aboriginal custodians. Fire tracks highlight the friction brilliantly between its history and its future. It is the patterning of these components that have become the focus of Tiernan's new work.
