Story:
Tiernan has employed superficial interior décor designs symbolically showing how the colonisers patterns of life threaten to eclipse the original land and inhabitants, an indication of their lack of connection to this ancient land. The gold mark making encased around the edges and sides of the canvas refer to the gilt-edged frames used by the coloniser with power and influence, who are Romanising their understanding of the country.
