StoryThis artwork is inspired by knowledge given to her by her father, Paddy Japanangka Lewis and his
sister Mitjili Napanangka Gibson about her actual conception site — a small claypan which is
associated with the Bilby Dreaming to the south west of the two large claypans of Mina Mina —
(Napangardi’s custodial country).
This work painted in 2007 came after a 'Back to Country' trip to Mina Mina in 2006 with Dorothy's
extended family. The roundels and concentric circles with intercepting lines depicts her Bilby
Dreaming site and a use of colours that is different from her minimalist black and white works.
