          The Cooee Art stockroom includes contemporary Aboriginal paintings, rare bark paintings and artefacts, early desert boards and acrylic paintings as well as sculpture and limited edition fine art prints.

Cooee is now Australia’s oldest exhibiting Indigenous art gallery. Story

Jack has depicted the place known to him as Pooloom Country which is sometimes referred to by the locals as the Little Bungle Bungles.

Located on the South Western edge of the Bungle Bungles or Purnululu National Park as it is officially called the area incorporates the typical bee-hive shapes and striated structures in miniature with several of the more distinctive ones featured in the local Dreamtime stories.
