Dear Friends of Cooee Art,
Thank you to all our friends, collectors, and artists for your support in 2018 – what a momentous year!
The final Cooee exhibition for 2018 on in our Paddington gallery – Betty Bundamurra | Wandjina’s Assistant – is on view until 22 December. The small-scale paintings on paper on offer are possibly one of the best Christmas gifts you will buy, knowing that whilst you get a gift for yourself (or that someone special), you are giving a gift back to the art community and to the artist.
We look forward to inviting you back to our galleries in 2019, with an exciting line up of exhibitions and events. The first quarter of 2019 will boast three bright, bold and powerful exhibitions that explore and celebrate colour, dreaming and women. The first exhibition for 2019, Summer of Love, will be on view from 10 – 31 January 2019 at Cooee Art Paddington. Following Summer of Love is Jukurrpa on view 7 – 28 February at Cooee Art Paddington, which will explore different Dreaming stories. Opening on International Women’s Day, Women of Colour, curated by Director Mirri Leven, is a celebration of women in art. Women of Colour will be on view at our Paddington Gallery from 8 – 30 March 2019.
We would like to wish you all a wonderful and safe Holiday Season.
