The site presents wide range of artifact ranging from acrylic painting on canvas, ochres painting on bark to tribal artifacts from Central Desert and Arnhem Land such as shields, spears, baskets, boomerangs. All presented works are available for purchase on-line. Coo-ee Gallery sources artworks from individual artists, their agents, and community art centres throughout the Northern Territory, Western Australia, Far North Queensland and the Torres Strait Islands. The consistently high calibre of works in the gallery reflects the depth of knowledge and involvement Coo-ee has developed with the communities over its 25 year history. The gallery stocks an enormous variety of art including bark paintings, traditional, and colourful contemporary artworks, artefacts and fine art prints. Coo-ee runs a regular exhibition program, provides curatorial services, and undertakes valuations and consultancies. Adrian Newstead is an accredited valuer for the Federal Government’s Cultural Bequests Scheme, a trustee of the Aboriginal Benefits Foundation, a board member of Aboriginal Tourism Australia, and acts as adviser to the board of the Australian Indigenous Art Trade Association.
