STORY
Born in the bush and raised by nuns at the Kalumburu Mission from the age of three, Betty Bundamurra began painting late in life. Her paintings of animals in their natural environment are detailed evocations celebrating her Country, essentially acting as parables for children.
Betty's Kwini Dreamtime stories are joyfully painted with careful observation. Her charming, naive artworks reveal her passion for storytelling and her deep connection to nature.
