STORY
During sunset, Walawala (Eagle and Kangaroo Dreaming) is in the foreground and Karilwurra (Desert Python Dreaming) is in the background.
"Walawala is my grandfather's Country, near Kiwirrkurra in the NT. The wedge-tailed eagle created this Country during the Dreamtime. The eagle caught a kangaroo in the hills and took the kangaroo all the way through the hills down the plain creating the river that you see today. Wedge-tailed eagles fly above the hills today looking for kangaroos.
Karilwurra is the large hill in the background and is the place where the desert python came out of a cave and slid down the rocks looking for food. He created the spring and river along the way."
