STORY
Hector is a deeply religious man whose art tends to concerntrate on the metaphysical. His works are often constrained by a minimal use of colour with subjects that vary from minimal depictions of landscape to mythological interperations of Dreaming events. The vision is always that of a man looking through eyes intensely interested in the common ground between Aboriginal and Catholic belifs. Owl Dreaming shows the owls (damoyn) on Texas Downs Station with Boab trees under the night sky.
