Blue and Deep Burgundy rocks, sandy beaches washed by the Arafura Sea. Cliff edges, hints of sun sets; Landforms; Red and Pink, shimmers of yellow and gold spread throughout with intruding shades of blue and green. Colour, balance, subtle shades of variation, effects of scale and distance come together. A Celebration of Country; the land where I am from the Northern Territory and The Torres Strait. The Saltwater crocodile, my totem, my strength, the land and sea from where it came, where I come from too lurks beneath.Memories of past, present, future. My family's Heritage. Joshua Bonson
