STORY
This painting depicts designs associated with the travels of an Ancestral snake from the site of Karrinyarra (Mt Wedge) to Tjikari in the West. On this journey this snake encountered another snake and they proceeded to fight.Upon completion of the fight the two snakes went separate ways with one travelling to Puntujtalpa (Jupiter Well) and the other travelling south. The patterned design in this painting depicts the skin of the snakes.
