Mary Thomas is a painter and Gija elder. She has painted alongside other senior Gija artists at the Warmun Art Centre, such as Gordon Barney, Churchill Cann, Betty Carrington, Mabel Juli, Nancy Nodea, Lena Nyadbi, Rusty Peters, Shirley Purdie and Mary Thomas.
