STORY
Patsy moved to Peppomenarti in her late 30’s. There she learnt to weave dilly bags and mats from her grandmother and other elders. In 2001 Peppimenarti artists started painting on canvas and brought to the indigenous art world a new fresh style. Patsy’s colourful and stunning compositions play visual chess, transforming the third dimension of weaving into two dimensions. Patsy’s unique style makes her he most sort after artists in the country.
