STORY
This artwork, etch print on paper, represents the waterlilies that grow along the Waterlily Dreaming is about my connection to the Namoi, Barwon & Darling Rivers. My beautiful Aboriginal mum (RIP) lived on the Namoi river at the Namoi Aboriginal Reserve Walgett, Gamilaraay Country. The waterlilies grow along the rivers. The Southern Cross and the Delphinus constellations are the Mirri Stars. The mirri stars of the Milky Way represent the camp fires of ancestors who have passed into the Dreaming.
