Billy Benn was co-authored in consultation and collaboration with the award winning Aboriginal artist Billy Benn Perrurle. The book is a monograph of Billy’s life and art. After working as Billy’s arts manager Billy asked me to tell his story. It is a story about returning to Billy’s traditional country, this landscape Billy had been separated from and painting from memory for forty years.
