STORY
Julie is the traditional custodian of her country Pirlinyanu, a land of rocky outcrops and deep water springs. It is a water dreaming site (Ngapa Jukurrpa) a couple of hours further west from Yuendumu. This is her fatherā€™s country. Julie Nangalaā€™s work is known for itā€™s beautiful fine dotting. She was taught to paint by her mother, who was the acclaimed artist Dorothy Napangardi.
