STORY
This painting by Kudditji Kngwarreye depicts the country where, during his younger days, he frequently took the younger boys and men out to hunt emu. During this time, he would teach them about the significance of the emu ancestors. In doing so, he would merge tradition and spirituality with practice, as pat of the younger boys' learning to take their places in the community as men.
