TELEPHONE BIDDING

Cooee Art Leven offers several ways to participate in one of our auctions. Bidding forms are also available in our showroom in Redfern during the auction preview. Bidding forms can be submitted in person, online or emailed. If you have not previously bid with Cooee Art/Cooee Art Leven, upon receiving your bid form we will request photo identification, such as a drivers licence or passport.

TELEPHONE BIDDING

Art Leven (formerly Cooee Art) Auctions offers a complimentary telephone bidding service on all works at auction. They are allowing you to actively bid live on the night of the auction from wherever you are. Telephone bids must be booked in advance of the auction, no later than 4 hours prior.

If you would like to place a telephone bid please complete the telephone bid form. You will be called 2 – 3 lots before your selected lot comes up and one of our staff will act on your behalf, being your eyes, ears, and spokesperson for the evening.

 

It is also advisable to leave a Cover Bid (which acts the same way as an Absentee Bid) so that if we cannot reach you on the night, the person calling can then step in and bid for you up to and including your Cover Bid amount. If you are a successful bidder an invoice will be sent to you via email within a day of the auction.

List the artworks you would like to bid on and a representative will call you during the auction on each lot listed. To add more than 3 items, resubmit the form.

Terms and Conditions*

Telephone bids must be received a minimum of twenty-four hours prior to auction. All telephone bids received will be confirmed by phone or email. In the event that confirmation is not received, please resubmit or contact our office.

 

By completing this form, I authorise Art Leven (formerly Cooee Art) to contact me by telephone on the contact number(s) nominated. I understand it is my responsibility to enquire whether any Sale-Room Notices relate to any lot on which I intend to bid. I also understand that should my bid(s) be successful, a buyer’s premium of 25% (inclusive of GST), will be added to the final hammer price.

 

I accept that Art Leven (formerly Cooee Art) provides this complimentary service as a courtesy to its clients, that there are inherent risks to telephone bidding, and I will not hold Art Leven (formerly Cooee Art)  responsible for any error.
