STORY
Paraparatjara is in the same area as Ilbili and Miramiratjara, a sacred place characterised by huge red sandhills and an underground water supply. When visiting this area one must be accompanied by a senior traditional owner who has a relationship to the area and knows how to communicate and pacify the dangerous underground snakes that guard the kapi (water.)
